Abstract |
|
Mobile Ad Hoc Networks (MANET) are autonomous and decentralized wireless systems. MANETs consist of mobile nodes that are free in moving in and out in the network. The main classes of routing protocols are Proactive, Reactive and Hybrid.[1] A Reactive (on-demand) routing strategy is a popular routing category for wireless ad hoc routing. In black hole attack, a malicious node sends the route reply message(RREQ) to the source node in order to advertise itself for having the shortest path to the destination node. we propose a new route maintenance algorithm to avoid black hole attacks. We propose this algorithm based on AODV (Ad-hoc On-demand Distance Vector routing protocol). |
