In this the concept of Motorized Water Pump using Scotch Yoke Mechanism which is mainly carried out for production based industries. We have developed a conceptual model of a water pump which would be capable of giving high discharge along with high pressure and it should be economically efficient. This pump gives maximum discharge at the same time with high pressure. Scotch Yoke mechanism is operated by motor and it is running with the help of current. The reciprocating motion of the plunger is utilized for the pumping action. The plunger is reciprocated with the help of cam plate. By this action the water is pumped with very high pressure. It is designed as a portable one which can be used in agricultural fields. Since this machine uses very less human effort and it is cheap. |
