Abstract |

As technology advances, researchers are paying more attention to robots in order to make human existence more comfortable. The design, development, and construction of a prototype Robotic vacuum cleaner using IEEE Standard 1621 (IEEE Standard for User Interface Elements in Power Control of Electronic Devices in Office/Consumer Environments) are shown in this work. The subject robot is capable of operating in both autonomous and manual modes, as well as having additional characteristics such as scheduling for a certain time and a bagless dirt container with an auto-soil disposal mechanism. This work has the potential to significantly improve humanity's quality of life. |
