Abstract

This research comprehensively assesses the response of G+30 high-rise buildings link with skybridge under earthquake loads. There are three method adopted for analysis static, Response spectrum and time history. In time history analysis, earthquake data from previous earthquakes (EL Centro 1940) is taken. Study focuses to evaluate two important parameters which are (a) story drift (b) maximum displacement. Analysis has been carried out using computer software. Based on result it is found that the story drift obtain from THM is slightly higher compared to RSM.
