Kingpins are used in various steering systems to automobiles front axle. The current work studies the various researches conducted in optimizing design and material of front axle using numerical and experimental techniques to minimize vibration, fatigue failure and improve strength. The study also includes manufacturing process involved, stresses generated using FEA software in analysis of structural behaviour of front axle. |
