Water hyacinth (Eichhornia crassipes) is a weed universally found in lakes, streams, and other water bodies across the globe. With high paces of recovery, endurance, and development, it is by and large hard to clear water bodies invaded with water hyacinth. Nonetheless, these highlights of water hyacinth can be considered as favorable. Analysts have endeavored to utilize hyacinth as a retentive for weighty metals, water contaminations, and others. Consequently, research activity on utilization of the water hyacinth is going on from many years and various researches has shown that it play a very significant role as a biofertilizer, biosorbent, bioenergent and many more which are discussed below. |
