Abstract |

The research field of Artificial Intelligence has delivered many results, even if the achievements are different from the unrealistic promises and claims that have been made in the past. The limitations of current robotics are mist clearly revealed when it comes to perception. In the presentation, examples will be given of devices in natural perception which may be very useful for robotics: foreground/background separation, colour constancy and optic-flow computation. |
