Abstract |
|
Tall building development has been rapidly increasing worldwide. An Outrigger system is a type of lateral load resisting systems. Outrigger system can control drift in tall building significantly due to which the performance of building improves under seismic and wind loading. As the height of the building increases, the stiffness of the building reduces. The outrigger system effectively control the excessive drift due to lateral load. The objective of this paper is to study, the performance of outrigger structural system in high-rise RC Building subjected to seismic load and Wind Load. In this study, The behavior of 37 storey RC building will analysed by using standard structural software for story drift and stiffness at different outrigger level to optimize the structural system. |
