Abstract |

This project, on Earth Quake resistance design, reports a brief study on free vibration dynamic analysis for determining vibration parameters such as natural frequencies and mode shape for hostel building at CHAITANYA College. Finite element analysis software package ANSYS 9.0 has been used for analyzing vibration parameters for the proposed building. Based on the obtained results of natural frequency of the building, equivalent base-shear is calculated from the code IS 1983:2002 (part-1). Finally the building has been designed including the obtained base-shear Using STAAD Pro. In the present analysis of G+3 building under various seismic response system and designed system and designed (slabs, columns and footings) using ANSYS 9.0 |
