Abstract |
|
The project involves control and monitoring of output voltage of synchronous generator by using PLC. The main objective is to keep the output voltage of synchronous generator constant as load changes as well as voltage setting function from remote location. PID and microcontroller based systems are unable to monitor and control the system from remote location. In this project, PLC is used for controlling the excitation system of synchronous generator and SCADA is used for controlling the voltage set point of PLC and monitoring the output voltage and current of synchronous generator. |
