Abstract |

In this paper, we will discuss performance of radio-over-fiber (RoF) links employing intensity modulation in terms of many parameters. An analytical model including dispersion, laser and radio frequency (RF) oscillator phase noise can be constructed to estimate the BER performance for RoF system. We can observe the effect of RF oscillator linewidth and percentage of received power on the BER. CNR has been calculated using the autocorrelation function and PSD function.
