Abstract

Active vibration control of flexible beams is critical for high-performance and safe aerospace, civil, robotic, and precision systems. This paper presents a MATLAB-based GUI that integrates beam modeling, automatic PID controller design, and classical analysis tools such as root locus and Bode plots. The framework enables rapid evaluation of vibration suppression under diverse disturbances and systematic study of material, modeling, and excitation effects. By combining visualization, automation, and experimentation, the tool supports teaching, self-learning, and research, and forms a scalable foundation for advanced control strategies and real-time implementation.
