Abstract

Agriculture has always played a crucial role in human civilization, especially in countries like India, where it forms the foundation of the economy. Unfortunately, a staggering 40% of food crops are lost each year globally due to crop diseases, pests, and the lack of effective detection methods. The identification and management of these diseases have become major obstacles. Although traditional methods can be successful, they are not always the most effective approach. As a result, advanced technologies such as transfer learning and convolutional neural networks (cnns) can be utilized as solutions, ensuring high accuracy. This study investigates how advanced artificial intelligence (ai) tools can enhance the efficiency of real-time disease detection in crops, leading to reduced losses compared to traditional methods.
