Abstract |

The machining had been considered to be an important aspect for shaping material as per the requirement using material removal concept. EN 31 has been used on a large scale in various applications like development of injection mold die, etc. The process itself relates to various parameters. Among them few parameters had been adjusted as process input parameters i.e. speed, Feed, depth of cut, orientation of work piece, tool type, etc. And few considered being output parameters that a machinist can observe for product quality justification. The review article here is giving exposure to those parameters. The depth presentation of parameters affecting machining of EN31 steel has been presented here. The findings available had been referred for development of logical range of acceptable machining parameters and surface parameters. |
