In modern tall building design, reduce the impact of lateral loads is crucial for structural stability and occupant safety. [1] Among the various structural systems employed for this purpose, the outrigger system stands out as an effective solution. The behavior of 45 story structure for lateral loads is analyzed with Core wall, 3 RCC and Steel Outrigger systems by placing them at different story levels alternatively using ETABS software. The behavior of these outrigger configurations under seismic loads. The parameters such as displacements, inter-story drifts and bending moments in a structure with a core wall and outriggers are plotted and compared with a structure containing only a core wall. The combination of RCC and steel outriggers may provide optimal results compared to using RCC or steel outriggers individually. By integrating outriggers during the design phase, engineers can enhance building stability and seismic resilience. |
