This paper contains detailed information on the smart medicinal box, an IoT high-tech innovation that emerges as a boon in healthcare. Patients often grapple with managing numerous medications, which can be overwhelming. The elderly and their caretakers face unique challenges in ensuring timely and accurate dosage. This smart pillbox prototype, a beacon of technological advancement offers a solution. It autonomously organizes pills and issues remainders, reducing errors and empowering patients to take control of their health. In the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, it enables independent living for seniors. While previous researchers laid the foundation, our paper aims to enhance the smart medicine box concept, introducing novel improvements and inspiring future studies in this critical healthcare domain. With customizable scheduling, voice, application notification, and LED reminders, it transforms medication management, promoting adherence, and patient empowerment. |
