Abstract |
|
In this paper, the main aim of our project is to compare the strength properties of conventional concrete and non-conventional concrete of M35 grade of concrete. This study investigates the combined effects of deploying glass powder and natural fibers on mechanical properties of hardened concrete for the grade of M35. In our present investigation no.of tests were conducted to research the effect of 0%,5%,10%,15%of glass powder and natural fibers are 0.2%, 0.4%, 0.6%. A notable improvement is being noticed in the strength properties of concrete when the glass powder is used as partial replacement of cement and on the other hand, the addition of natural fibers to the concrete results in the reduction of permeability and the improvement in crack resistance eventually, to maintain sustainability and to gain durability and strength. |
