Andropause is a gradual process and is more similar to menopause in women. Knowledge and experience of symptoms of andropause is an important discussion in their lives nowadays. The study’s main aim is to find out the knowledge and symptoms of andropause among men. The study used descriptive analysis, the data were collected using the Aging Male Scales (AMS) questionnaire. The results of the study show that 73.6% of the respondents had a strong experience of andropause, and it has a strong connection with the level of education and occupation related to andropause. Based on the outcomes of this study, despite the fact that the majority of men over age 40 had experienced symptoms of andropause, their awareness about andropause was very low and they are more prone to psychological issues. Men in their middle age are learned to be physically and emotionally stable. The spouse should support the partner in all ways to balance the crisis. |
