In this paper seismic analysis and design of multi-storey building (G+4) using staad pro software for zone II. To design a multi-storey building structure, it is mainly divided into two types – manual method and software based method .STAAD PRO is a structural analysis and design software. Humans are creating software for designing of structures to make the process easier and save time. It is true that designing with software is simple and time-saving, and the outcomes are generally accurate. The software method of analysis is used for a G+4 multistory building in Zone II. The purpose of providing this work is to learn how to utilise the staad pro programme to design various building parts such as beams, columns, slabs and foundations, and stairways when seismic and wind stresses are occurring on the structure. Analyses and design is done as per IS: 1893 (part-1) 2002 Design Criteria for Earthquake Resistant Structures New Delhi: Bureau of Indian Standards. |
