While copper slag is generally adopted for various purposes like land filling and abbrasive tools preparation, low quality tools and railway ballast materials. Inspite of all these application all over the world only 18 % of copper slag is used remaining 82% comes under wastage. but if We adopted this material as substitute in construction material it will have a promising future. Steel Outrigger Bracing System Position Optimization for High Rise Construction

The outrigger bracing system provides the solution to control excessive drift and displacement in high rise buildings. It consists of the outrigger bracings or the outrigger trusses which connects the central core of the building with the peripheral columns and the peripheral columns relate to one another through the belt trusses. In this study, the conventional structural model having the central core of reinforced concrete and the models with outrigger at top, top and 0.75H, top and 0.5H and top and 0.25H where H is the total height of the building are modeled for the 20, 40 and 60 storey building heights. The main objective of the study is to determine the optimum location of the outrigger system. ETABS 2017 software package is used for the modeling and analysis of this study. The models are analyzed by three methods, Equivalent Static Method, Response Spectrum Method and the Non-Linear Time History Analysis and results are compared in terms of the maximum top displacement, storey drift, base shear, moment in the core, axial forces in peripheral column, roof acceleration, roof velocity and time period of the structure. The results obtained from different analyses suggests that the optimum location of the outrigger bracing system for high rise building is at the top and mid height of the building for which the top displacement and drift is minimum. The outrigger structures are stiffer than the conventional structures and hence time period decreases. The top and 0.5H model of outriggers showed the maximum decrease in moment at the base of the central core and the maximum increase in axial forces in peripheral columns because they are engaged with central core and forms a tension compression couple that resists external loadings. Scope and approach: Gypsum is used mainly in construction as well as insulation works. Gypsum is either mined or synthesized from Cao using sulfuric acid. Eggshells being rich in CaCo₃ (approx. 95% w/w) gives an excellent opportunity for gypsum synthesis from them giving double fold advantage of reduction of landfill requirement as well as synthesis of gypsum.
Result and conclusion: Dilute sulphuric acid was used to treat washed and dried eggshells directly as well as calcined shells. Calcination and then neutralization yielded 89% calcium sulphate compared to direct neutralization using eggshell. The reaction order was found to be of first order.

This artificial immune system algorithm makes use of mechanism of vertebrate immune system along with clonal selection principle. This model presents crossover mechanism which is integrated into traditional immune system algorithm based on clonal theory. The Algorithm is proposed with the value of real parameters in spite of binary coded parameters. Only non-dominated individual and best feasible antibodies will added. All the individuals in memory set will be cloned. In this work a novel artificial immune system algorithm is proposed. The proposed algorithm is then further implemented to solve real life engineering multi objective optimizing problems. Not only one solution, but, preferred multi sets of solutions near the reference point are found. We can minimize and maximize complex multi objective optimizing problems where both the objectives can best meet and none of the objective can bypass other objective. This algorithm will guide search for the global Pareto optimal front and maintains the solution diversity. It is, therefore, necessary that the various parameters of industrial buildings be standardized on broad norms so that it would be feasible to easily adopt prefabricated members, particularly where repetitive structure could be used. In the present work, a total of ten pitched roof trusses are compared. The analysis and design results of steel roof trusses are presented for a span of 12 m and 6 m spacing between them. The truss configurations used are Double Howe, Double Fink, Fan, Fink, Pratt, Queen post, Fink-2, Multi panel, Attic and Piggyback. The slope of roof truss provided is 180 which is generally recommended as this may not pose any fabrication problem. The analysis of roof truss is done for wind zones I to VI. The analysis and design have been done based on the relevant Indian standards. Box sections are used in trusses. A comparison of axial force, shear force in members and weight and cost are made. Also, axial and shear force on these trusses is compared. The result shows that the Pratt truss is more economical than other trusses considered. It can learn features from big data and use an artificial neural network based on a back distribution algorithm to train and separate plant leaf samples. Contents of this paper extract the characteristics of plant leaves and identify plant species according to image analysis. First, images of plant leaves are categorized in different ways, and then an extraction algorithm is used to extract the leaf formations and texture characteristics in the leaf sample images. After that, the complete feature details of the plant leaves are compiled according to the full data. At the same time, comparing the leaves of 7 different plants found that ginkgo leaves were easy to spot. With photos of the leaves under a complex background, a good visual effect was obtained.
