India has produced total volume of vehicle around million of unit which cause increase in Traffic management and security issues. In order to take care of traffic it's essential to identify vehicles with their registration plates. License plate recognition technology has helped in Analysis of traffic, improved security for parking area operators and parking lot users, state border control etc Due to recent developments of highway and the increased utilization of vehicles, significant interest has been paid on the latest, effective, and precise intelligent transportation system, The process of identifying particular objects in an image plays a crucial part in the fields of computer vision or digital image processing. Vehicle license plate recognition process is difficult because of variations in viewpoint, shape, color, multiple formats and non-uniform illumination conditions while acquiring images. This paper presents survey on various techniques for High Security Registration Plate Detection and recognition.
