The future of information and money exchange in our globally networked world is significantly affected by a new technology called blockchain. From the advent of its earliest and most popular use, bitcoin, blockchain technology has been referred to as a cryptocurrency platform. A safe history of data transactions is maintained by blockchain technology, a fully decentralized digital registry. I give an extensive taxonomy of blockchain along with its variants. Afterwards, blockchain enabled applications in a variety of industries, including public sector, supply chain, finance, and healthcare. The implementation difficulties in newly developing blockchain research domains have also been highlighted by me. |
