Nanotechnology includes the production and utilization of materials which exist at the nanoscale, and ranges up to 100 nm size. It has the potential to replace a series of medical and biotechnological tools and procedures so that they are potable, cheaper, safer and easier to administer. Nanoparticles can synthesized chemically or biologically. Different types of nanoparticle platforms which are differentiated based on their size, shape, composition and their functionalities. Biological systems have ability to convert metal ions into metal nanoparticles. Nanoparticles can be used in drug and gene delivery, water treatment, biomolecules detection, medicine, Biosensors etc. Also nanoparticles have variety applications in day to day life. |
