Abstract

The voltage stability serves a key role in operation of power system when large scale solar PV system is connected to grid. In contrast with the past, Integration of large scale solar power has severe impacts on the power system operation. Under the large integration of solar power, maintaining stability and reliability of supply is a big challenge to power system operators. In this paper, methods of voltage stability analysis of solar PV integration to the power grid has been studied. As solar irradiance is having random nature, it affects the stability of the system especially Voltage Stability. An attempt is made to identify the impact of integration of photo voltaic power into grid on voltage stability.
