Abstract

Muffler is a device used to reduce the sound from systems such as combustion engines, compressors, air-conditioning systems. But Issues regarding the design and use of large-scale silencers are more prevalent today than ever before. With the use of large industrial machinery (such as IC Engine) For that There are a number of methods currently used to model and investigate the acoustic performance (TL) of mufflers including analytical methods & computational methods including the use of FEM and BEM and experimental measurement techniques.
