Abstract |

This paper is about the use of shunt active power filter for power quality improvement. The aim of this paper is to review an active power filter that commonly used to mitigate harmonics. Active power filters are inherently current limiting, have no resonance problem, intelligent and adaptable can be configured to either correct full spectrum of harmonic and able to compensate for harmonics without fundamental frequency reactive power concern. |
