Secure digital communication has become a major requirement due to increasing threats such as data breaches, impersonation, and unauthorized access. ChitLink Messenger is developed as a modern messaging platform that combines strong encryption techniques with social identity verification to deliver safe, real-time communication. The system uses AES-based end-to-end encryption to ensure full message privacy, while JWT authentication provides robust access control for user login sessions. Real-time communication is achieved through WebSocket channels, allowing instant message exchange without delay. The frontend application is built using Flutter, enabling a smooth and uniform experience across Android, iOS, and web platforms. The backend is powered by Spring Boot, which ensures high performance, modular development, and strong security management. MongoDB is used as the primary database to store user information, chat histories, and social badge details due to its scalability and flexibility. A unique feature of ChitLink is its ability to integrate social media badges, enabling users to link Instagram or LinkedIn profiles to strengthen trust and authenticity. Overall, ChitLink Messenger demonstrates how secure communication, modern UI design, and identity verification can be integrated into a single, efficient system. The platform forms a strong foundation for future enhancements such as multimedia messaging, voice and video communication, AI moderation, or cloud-based scaling, making it suitable for real-world use. |
