Abstract |
|
Despite the increasing capabilities of technology, smart and intelligent tasks such as those required for smart healthcare, virtual reality, and IoT-related services are still not possible with current technology. In this work, a multi-objective GWO optimization algorithm was proposed and evaluated for task offloading in fog computing. The results showed improvements in average response time, energy consumption, and load balancing measures, demonstrating the effectiveness of the method. MOGWO was found to be an effective offloading technique for IoT systems that require low latency and quick response times, and can help improve the performance of IoT applications by efficiently utilizing the resources available in the IoT network. |
