Abstract |
|
In this review, the possibility for producing biodiesel from seeds that isn't suitable for human consumption is addressed. The creation of renewable and ecologically acceptable fuels is necessary due to the rising global energy demand, diminishing fossil fuel supplies, and environmental concerns. Due to its biodegradability, non-toxicity, and decreased pollutant emissions, biodiesel, which is produced from non-edible oil seeds, presents a possible option. The importance of biodiesel production is discussed in this essay, along with the potential of non-edible oil seeds in India and the environmental and financial advantages of expanding biodiesel production. |
