Abstract |
Cloud sever is a logical server that is built, hosted and delivered through a cloud computing platform over the internet. Cloud servers possess and exhibit similar capabilities and functionality to a typical server but are accessed remotely from a cloud service provider. A cloud server may also be called as a virtual server or virtual private server. In the current scenario, owning a cloud server would cost you more than 50K INR and from a personal usage point of view that is not efficient, our paper aims at building a cost efficient cloud server, that can be used both for personal and commercial work. The entire phenomenon is based on the use of raspberry PI. The Raspberry Pi is a series of credit card–sized single-board computers developed in Wales, United Kingdom by the Raspberry Pi Foundation with the intention of promoting the computer science. The average cost of a cloud server available in the market ranges from around 60000 INR – 7 Lac INR, which makes it radically impossible from personal use. This paper suggests various models of Raspberry Pi which works with cloud server. |
